Jeff Winkler, CEO of Winkler, Treger and Associates and Managing Partner of Strategic Cat Solutions, LLC

Jeff Winkler has over thirty years of industry experience including thirteen years as a multi-line company claims adjuster, primarily with Cincinnati Insurance Company. He was also vice president of a multi-million dollar insurance restoration construction company for twelve years, where he oversaw day to day operations of the company and served as the liaison between the restoration company and a multitude of insurance companies. He is now the co-owner and CEO for Winkler, Treger and Associates, an independent adjusting company founded in 2006 and currently services Florida and Louisiana. He also serves as an appraiser for several insurance companies and is an umpire certified through the Wind Insurance Network. Jeff brings to our organization a unique combination of insurance, construction and management expertise to round out our management team. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Florida Southern College where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Dale Treger, President of Winkler, Treger and Associates and Managing Partner of Strategic Cat Solutions, LLC

Dale Treger is the co-owner and President of Winkler, Treger and Associates, an independent adjusting company founded in 2006 and currently services Florida and Louisiana. He also serves as an appraiser for several insurance companies and is an umpire certified through the Wind Insurance Network. Prior to Winkler, Treger and Associates Dale worked for a multi-million dollar restoration construction company and managed the day to day operations for several Insurance Direct Repair Programs. He was also a large loss estimator and construction supervisor. Dale brings to our organization strong technical expertise in construction, estimating and systems, as well as extensive experience in insurance and management.

Barbara Slawiak, AIC, CPIW, LPCS-SIU Support Services Manager

Barbara has over 30 years of claims experience and is recognized as a leader in the fight against insurance fraud and arson. She has testified in depositions and trials throughout the southeast and is considered a skilled professional in the fight against fraud and arson. She has established a team of claims investigative experts and defense attorneys in Florida and Louisiana who have successfully defended these highly complex claims. Barbara has worked for major insurance companies such as United Services Automobile Association (USAA), HomeWise Insurance Company, Colonial Penn Insurance Company and Metropolitan Property & Liability Insurance Company. She has been affiliated with industry associations such as:

• Florida Advisory Committee on Arson Prevention –She has held the position of President and a member of the Board of Directors, annual educational seminar speaker coordinator, and registration chairman, planning committee and instructor.
• Tampa Association of Insurance Professionals – Past President and Director.
• Florida Insurance Fraud Education Committee – Annual education committee seminar member and instructor.
• Insurance Committee on Arson Prevention – Educational seminar committee and instructor.
• Certified by the State of Florida as an instructor
